It was born from the desire of the dancer Lucía Serrano to bring flamenco culture to Cantabria, from its purest essence. Dance, singing, guitar playing and percussion, united in the same space in order to make flamenco known and lived in its broadest sense.

ESENCIA offers courses for all levels, beginners, intermediate and advanced, from children of 3 years and without age limit, we invite you to discover the art of flamenco. Singing, playing and dancing will make you fall in love with this art, that you continue travelling with them, or continue training to become a professional in this art.

The school offers an integral flamenco education, flamenco dance classes that include live musicians, but also specific percussion, guitar, singing and general knowledge of flamenco: to know its palos, its compás, its history, its evolution, being able to choose each student to specialise in a specific field or to opt for a more complete knowledge.
